is a PhD research student conducting creative practice-based research in Creative Writing at the University of Essex in Colchester. Her writing and research is concerned with the development of transgender fiction, women’s stories, and the importance of marginalised voices and narratives in art. Her work has appeared online, Do It Now, with Fictive Dream, and she worked as a fiction editor with Oranges Journal.
Jordan is most excited to read experimental/literary fiction, and fiction that pushes limits in representing gender ambiguity through original use of language. She founded tlit to help amplify the work of trans writers.

sam nartus-fois he/they
is an emerging French to English translator and writer of queer literature. Originally from France but now based in the UK, they have a Master’s degree in literary translation from the University of Essex and is currently pursuing a PhD program in linguistics researching grammatical gender. He has translated fiction, non-fiction, poetry and theatre, and their work focuses both on literary and academic texts surrounding the issues of transness and queerness as well as feminism. His translation, One must fall from a comet to understand solitude, was published by Sybil Journal.
